Final Thoughts
Investing in cryptocurrency is gaining in popularity and I don’t think it’s going anywhere anytime soon. The purpose of this series was just to give you a bare basic understanding of what the hype was about and how you can get started. Please remember, if you do decide to invest, do NOT invest more than you are comfortable losing. The cryptocurrency field gets deeper when it comes to discussion on how to store your coins to keep them safe, avoiding scams, government/bank influence on prices and much more. I will be tackling those topics in future posts as well. Below are a few more resources to help you get started in the crypto world.
Coinbase – They have a very user friendly platform and an easy way to get your foot in the door of Cryptocurrency. You can purchase Bitcoin, Etherum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash from here.
Binance – This is One of several exchanges where you can purchase Altcoins.
CoinMarketCap – A ton of valuable info here on just about every coin available, such as historical prices, charts, the exchanges it’s on and more.
Coindesk – Up to date info and articles on what’s going on in the world of Cryptocurrency.
Robinhood – They recently announced that they will soon be making bitcoin and other select cryptocurrencies available to buy and sell.
